We Heart Art

We just checked out the opening of and it felt like a kiss at the Incline Gallery in the Mission. The show features prints and works on paper by Bay Area artists Nora Aoyagi, Leah Dai Brawley, and Gina M. Contreras. If you are a Three-Minute Picture Show fan, you are already familiar with Leah’s work –she did the lovely illustrations on our website, 2010 festival posters and merch, and her work was featured during our screenings last August.
As you enter the gallery, you are greeted by three murals, one pained by each artist. This is definitely a highlight and provides ample photo ops! Wind your way up the ramp and discover gem after gem by these three talented friends whose work explores the challenges, possibilities, and randomness of love.
The show is up through March 6. The Incline Gallery is at 766 Mission and open Saturdays noon to 5 pm and by appointment.
